I covered the Agric sector of the Nigerian economy, with the responsibilities of updating clients with viable investment opportunities in the sector. I also wrote earnings update, gave stock recommendation based on both fundamental and technical analysis of the players in the sector. One of my achievements in United Capital was my contribution to the H2-2019 outlook report which was published in July-2019.

I worked as a finance analyst in the investment banking unit of the Firm and i was engaged with different capital and debt market transactions during the time spent in the firm. I was saddled with the responsibilities of developing investment memorandum for different capital projects and also analyzing and determining the viability of different investment opportunities across capital markets.

As a Graduate intern in the Global market unit of Stanbic IBTC, i was able to learn the basic operations of the financial markets across all trading desks( Sales, FX trading desk, Money markets, fixed income and interest sales) in the unit. I was saddled with the responsibilities of gathering and sending out financial market updates to clients on daily basis. I was also involved in executing clients request for money market instruments and also advising with retail runs.

As the President of NESA OAU, I worked with a team of 11 in raising the bar of the association both in terms of financial sufficiency and also driving a smooth student-lecturer relationship through different academic and social programs.One of our numerous landmark achievements as a team, was the organization the Annual Economic Students Conference (4th Edition) which was massively attended by Economics Students from about 35 universities (Private and Federal) in Nigeria.The conference was also graced by the some professional and renowned speakers across the country, to mention but a few; Dr. Yemi Kale (DG of National Bureau of Statistics, Prof Adeola Adenikinju ( Monetary Policy Committe member CBN), Dolapo Oni (Energy Analyst, ECOBank) and lots more. Also, we were able to secure sponsorship from a number of private companies both in terms of financial aid and internship opportunities for deserving students in the department.
