Senior Merchandiser • Handling business volume of more than USD 30 million. • Accountable as head business for the Apparel Retail buyers in the US & UK market to increase business volume by managing their Accounts to ensure seamless interaction to delivery.• Lead a team of professionals for interaction with buyers / buying houses, handling tech-packs, sampling, sourcing trims, accessories, fabric, etc., vendor development, approvals, bulk production.• Collaborating team environment which involves Business Planning, Business development,Customer Management & Relations.• Attending business meetings overseas on behalf of the Company.• Driving profitability - revenue by establishing current and new business on board.• Development of samples and getting approval from buyers for bulk sampling and communicating with the buyer on day-to-day basis.• Managing all the orders with the Company from the stage of Sampling to Production to Shipment.• Established and continue to maintain Time and Action Calendar, meeting all ship date deliveries.• Monitoring the production figures coordinating with production and finishing departments.• Discussing/confirming the terms of payment and delivery of the goods of the overseas buyer.• Follow-up with suppliers, conduct mid-inspection, reporting & taking corrective actions.• Follow-up for shipment status with Factory as per shipment schedule.• Follow up with the customer for payment for shipments.• Maintaining proper co-ordination with the clearing agents and the manufacturing unit duringshipment.
