David Samuels is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois. Mr. Samuels provides counsel to a wide range of clients in a variety of industries, with the emphasis of his practice being the Hospitality Industry. He is the President of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys ("AHIA"), which is a national association of select attorneys who dedicate the majority of their practice to the Hospitality Industry. Mr. Samuels is a vice-chair of the Firm's Hospitality Practice and a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. With over 30 years of litigation experience, Mr. Samuels has successfully litigated thousands of general/premises liability matters on behalf of hundreds of hotels and resorts. In addition to his decades of work in the Hospitality Industry, he has significant experience handling high exposure/catastrophic personal injury cases arising from numerous other fields, including construction, commercial property, ride-share, trucking and alleged dangerous conditions of public property. He has won numerous jury and bench trials, and a long track record of successfully handling complex personal injury disputes.
