Mr. Samuels currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of DrFirst, Inc., a national provider of healthcare software as a service (SaaS) solutions and electronic medication management platforms for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. During his tenure, he has secured more than $370M in debt and equity financings from top tier institutional investors (Goldman Sachs, TPG/Sixth Street Partners, Macquarie Group, Truist), and structured several key acquisitions and partnerships to support the company’s continued growth. Tender offers completed during his tenure resulted in 24x equity capital returns to the company's early investors. Institutional investors and lenders have been fully repaid with solid financial returns over their hold periods through various financing initiatives. A six-time CFO, Mr. Samuels has held CFO roles in a variety of publicly traded and private equity-backed businesses within the technology industry for the past two decades. He held senior financial leadership positions with respected global services leader HMS Host, formerly Host Marriott Services Corporation (NYSE:HMS) over a ten-year period. He began his career in the assurance practice of KPMG LLP.
