Growing up in two different countries has given me a global perspective, empowering me to step out of my comfort zone, and instilling an appreciation for diversity. The exposure to different cultures, individuals, and experiences has enabled me to develop valuable skills. As a naturally determined individual, I am always looking to take the initiative in projects and solve problems using creative and out-of-the-box thinking. I am a rising sophomore at the Kelley School of Business, pursuing a B.S degree in Accounting. During the summer, I work for a lifeguard company. The skills I've learned along my journey help me lead a region spanning over six contract locations in three counties with over 150+ employees to administer pool safety and teach children, teens, and adults how to swim.This last summer, I created a program to reduce complaints, and employee turnover. I started by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data from employees to see what the biggest strengths in the company along with areas of growth and development are. Using these conclusions, I created a training program designated to create years worth of experience to be passed on to newer employers in less than a month. I am looking forward to using skills like this at your company to create individual and communal growth.
