Fleet maintenance, management and personnel management. I am in charge of a team of ten controlling the maintenance and management of fifty platforms ranging from heavy armoured tracked and wheeled vehicles, weapon systems and plant equipment. I also administrate my team with respect to future training, career planning and reports.

An engineering maintenance team leader, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance and repair of 40 differing vehicles ranging from heavy armoured tracked systems to light wheeled vehicles with a team of 10 personnel; operating under varying degrees of pressure and in differing complex environmental situations.• Established a personnel-training department producing and implementing a plan to capture the technical and personal development training for 60 personnel over a 12 month period. This also involved conducting interviews and in-house training. Lead instructor advising on career and future development. • Project lead towards the research and development of a means of door assist for the armoured cab door on an Oshkosh heavy equipment transporter vehicle, involving a team of 3 with the aim of improving crew safety.• Team lead in the Planning, Production and Control Cell with a staff of 3 dealing with technical issues on a daily basis; involving customer/contractor relationship integration.• Responsible for the technical online engineering management system conducting monthly meetings, audits and reviews providing quality assurance and best practice procedures. • Project leader for a LEAN production project for 50 vehicle platforms; with specified constraints and deadlines. Involving external contractors and 2 internal production teams of 5 personnel. • Lead investigator into a technical fault with a military vehicle; allocating the root cause using a practical systematic approach and producing an in-depth report with solutions.• Managed a Command Centre controlling 150 vehicles providing iterated logistic support and a technical point of contact for problems and issues. Daily customer relations ensured successful completion of KPI's maintaining equipment availability of 97% over a six-week period.
