Broadly, this assay will help screen patient T-cells for immune system engineering applications. • Working on novel cell culture technique for use in understanding cellular communication in complex cellular populations with potential applications for automated cancer drug screening.• Preforming CRISPR DNA modification on human tissue culture cell lines to create tools necessary to visualize cellular communication. • Developed open sourced robotic pumping system for precise microfluidic manipulation. This system provides researchers across a broad range of fields with a powerful new research tool. Design is focused on keeping the system simple and low cost to clear the current barriers to mass microfluidic adoption in both industries and the academic setting.
