Carrier Strike Group ONE (CSG-1) Homeport: San Diego, CA

Stood up new Strike Group’s force protection organization, leading to anti-terrorism force protection certifications to support two Middle Eastern deployments. Lead planner for San Francisco Fleet Week 2011, integrating twelve ships, two maritime security detachments and myriad of federal, state and local agencies to ensure a safe and incident free visit.

Navy Personnel Command, Millington, TN

Advised Commander on pending legislation affecting manpower, pay, and benefits of Navy personnel. Led the team that researched and responded to Congressional inquiries regarding naval service members and their families. Personally coordinated Congressional Delegation visits to Navy Personnel Command.

Helicopter Anti-Submarine Light 45 (HSL-45) San Diego, CA

Safety and Operations Department Head. Ensured squadron personnel trained in workplace, flight line, and off-duty safety. Administered squadron aviation safety program. Managed squadron flight hour execution and operational deployment schedule. Deployed as aviation detachment OIC for Maritime Interdiction Operations in Southeast Asia.
