Customer Service Manager
CurrentSteam TurbineResponsible for determining the overall business development strategy through participation in customer outage planning sessions and outage support activities.Project management for both customer site projects and work at the ALSTOM Richmond workshop. Develop outage recommendations based on recommended service intervals, previous outages findings, current plant operation, available upgrades and engineering recommendations. Coordinate the proposal development based on outage planning discussions with the customer in conjunction with Thermal Service Steam Turbine Engineering, Outage Services, Parts, Power Automation Controls (PAC), Power Systems Manufacturing (PSM), Richmond Service Shop and Field Services Operation Business groups. Create Opportunities; identify projects, request manpower and tooling using the global database CRM/ FERMAN/Siebel.Assist customers in prioritizing and evaluating replacement part needs based on cost, operational efficiency, and pay back.Identify product development ideas based on customer/field needs and product cost reduction initiatives.Improve internal processes to help reduce overall cost and cycle time for the customer.Responsible for issuing outage reports, making sure invoices are paid promptly.; ALSTOM Power Midlothian, VA Commissioning Line Supervisor – Gas TurbineSupervise and mentor engineers during new erection, upgrades, overhaul, start-up and troubleshooting assignments.Provide field engineers and customers with technical support.Continually improve the technical, commercial, and organizational knowledge and skills of the engineers.Development and monitoring of training plans, conducting yearly performance and salary reviews.Generate new business opportunities for ALSTOM Power products and technology.Coordinate manpower scheduling and outage planning.Interact with ALSTOM Power lead center for Global strategies
