As an accomplished senior leader, I’ve been extremely fortunate to have built a 30-year career helping our Restaurants deliver outstanding guest experiences with a brand focus and community involvement. I am interested in making the most of my leadership experience by guiding, empowering, and coaching CEOs, their staff and students to achieve profitable results in a culture that celebrates its people and diversity.

Together with over 375 staff and 7 restaurants, we delivered record sales and profits, ranking in the top 10% of profitability in the U.S. We implemented a number of key employee incentive and safety initiatives along with a revamped training program which made working for our organization a fun, rewarding, safe, and respectful workplace. Through my service on the Ronald McDonald Children Charities of Southern California Grants Board, I was able to help review thousands of non-profits operations and financials in order to approve funds that helped support their causes. I derive great satisfaction from empowering anyone to be their best. I enjoy teaching students at The Institute for Culinary Education at College of the Canyons some of the core skills and knowledge required for employment in the food industry. I focus on problem solving, profitability and people. Students are challenged to critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of culinary operations and identify entrepreneurial and profitable approaches to operations.

As a well-rounded leader, I’m able to overcome complex challenges by drawing from a broad range of experience in people development, operations, problem solving, collaboration, and mentoring across a wide array of disciplines. I am truly at home when I’m mentoring and able to apply my creative problem solving skills to formulate innovative yet viable solutions. In summary, by leveraging my passion, I’m able to generate long-term sales and profitability growth for high-profile brands.
