David joined the contentious construction and engineering team of Dentons' merger partner Maclay Murray & Spens in January 2012, having previously spent 13 years with another large commercial firm in Scotland (McGrigors) and, before that, 12 1/2 years with a major City of London law firm (Clifford Chance). David has specialised in contentious work since 1988 and has been involved in a wide variety of disputes. He has extensive experience of all forms of dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, statutory adjudication and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. David is qualified in England and Scotland (and Hong Kong), is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Construction Law, and is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
