To assist in giving all of our people 'the right tools' for their job via Instruction, Information, Training and Supervision and to link all of these tools into an overarching 'Safe System of Work'.To manage the Insurance Portfolio, acting as a link between the Business and Insurance Brokers, Loss Adjustors, Claims Managers, Underwriters and to monitor and reduce, wherever possible, harm and uninsured Loss. To use information /data to influence behaviours.To advise and assist on promoting the positive aspects of our Business to build upon our current strengths.To identify and assist in the improvement of below par performance.To maintain the positives and build on the principles which achieved a very positive, compliant ESOS Audit result.To build upon our good Waste Management controls.To guide the Business Leaders on the key elements of Corporate Social Responsibility. To assist my colleagues achieve further external accreditations via RoSPA , NHBC and other key stakeholders and to enhance further our positive relationship with our Insurers who, at our invitation, Audit us annually.To manage a small team in a fast growing business and to build an ever improving 'Safety and Risk Management Culture ' designed to prevent 'Harm' however that is manifested.Primarily , to be on hand to help, to roll up the sleeves and lead from the front.
