Our 2 main products continue to be FLIR detection and Intelight ATC traffic controllers. The Intelligent Transportation Industry is an ever changing industry with lots of focus on the future of transportation and the infrastructure that surrounds it. Understanding how traffic moves and responds to these new challenging technologies is the job of every traffic engineer for every city. Looking at new technologies and how they can simplify and improve traffic flow is important.

Although video detection is our main product, I will be promoting our other solutions including Intelight's line of controllers and Swarco message signs. Sales and Support of FLIR ITS Products to the Transportation Industry. Formerly Traficon. FLIR products are used as video detection at intersections for traffic flow and on highways for detection of problems in all weather conditions. Products include automobile detection, motorcycle detection, bicycle detection and pedestrian detection.My job responsibilities include sales and support through distribution channel. Additionally, they include directing marketing media for US markets, assisting product development with new products for US and Canada, and assisting our technical department with product support and client relations. This segment is a small piece of a larger organization so many functions are similar to a small business. I am directly involved in conception and development of the next generation of products for this market. These activities include market need recognition, market awareness and market development. I also have experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM as well other reporting and account tracking activities. Responsible for a $7-10Mil business line.

Responsibilities included hands on direct sales of Thermal Imaging Cameras to clients within varying business categories. These include, Power Utilities, Large and Small Manufacturing, Service Companies, Electronic Manufacturing, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, Building Restoration Companies, Energy Conservation companies and many other business types. Other responsibilities included presentations to large and small audiences, product and software training, as well as Distributor training and education.Many programs used by our national sales team started with programs developed within my region. These programs include our Infraforum seminar series, our MTU program, our TSR program, and our CEU accreditation program for electricians. In 2009 I was promoted to Sr. District Sales Manager (WA, OR, AK)One responsibility was assisting as a key person in helping the sales organization implement Salesforce as our contact management system. I assisted IT and management in the layout and user interface to allow this program to streamline our specific needs for national and international sales teams. Regional sales have grown from $1.6Mil in 2000 to almost $6.6Mil in 2012 during a time when our products have become mature and we continue to see a significant reduction in prices. Consistently a top performer within in the company. In 2000 I was awarded the “Rookie of the Year” and in 2011 and 2012 I was awarded with the prestigious “Top Gun” award for the highest sales within the company.
