Reporting to the CAO, Fire Chief David Sheen is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction and coordination of all sections of Ajax Fire and Emergency Services and to ensure AFES continue to deliver exceptional customer service in the areas of; public education, life safety, fire and emergency prevention, suppression, medical aid and rescue services to the citizens, and visitors of the Town of Ajax. Responsibilities also include staff training and development, emergency dispatch and communications and emergency management.
