I am currently managing at a lovely restaurant in Newlands that serves sushi as well as Thai food. I am involved in running the floor, placing orders, dealing with staff as well as simply making sure the place is running smoothly and everyone is happy.

Zambizi Zambia

For 5 months i had an amazing experience of working as a fishing guide on the Zambizi river in Zambia. I had great interaction with clients on a daily where I would spend all day of every day with clients on and off my boat. More or less every 5-6 days we would send off one group of clients and welcome in another group of excited clients. I acquired an extensive knowledge of tiger fishing as well as learning how to read a river and drive a boat. I loved my experience at Mutemwa Lodge.

During my time with B.A. Systems I worked on the interface graphics for the automated system interface. This was a project that required me to learn and apply skills. I had no formal training in the field but was able to apply myself to successfully complete the job. As there was no one in the company to teach me how to do what I needed to do or to use the programs needed, I had to self learn and teach myself everything I needed. The challenge of the job was what I found most rewarding.
