As the Director of Engineering at Standard-Knapp, I lead a team of Mechanical, Controls, and Quality Test Engineers in designing and testing high-speed automated packaging equipment. Previously, I managed the Case Packer Engineering team, overseeing or drop packer, pick and place, and case sealer product lines.Earlier, as Engineering Manager at AeroCision I contributed to a fast-growing aerospace machine shop, growing our 5-axis machining capability and playing a key role in the company's transition to private equity ownership. My Engineering career actually started back at Standard-Knapp as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where I worked on our Tritium Tray Packer product line and learned the basics and best practices of Machine Design and automation.Professionally, I enjoy team leadership and tackling challenging projects. Outside of work, I'm passionate about building and modifying cars, with my latest project being a road-legal tube chassis Kit Car.
