Responsibilities involve consulting and training on a wide range of topics including but not limited to coffee preparation and education.

The Ride Studio Cafe is a combination bike and coffee shop located in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations and therapeutic outings. Schedule all staff to provide adequate coverage. Ensure timely correspondence related to donations of goods and services. Train and supervise subordinate professional and paraprofessional staff. Oversight of volunteer and student/internship placements. Provide leadership in the absence of the Director of Therapeutic Services.

Deliver Custom Designed Programs that are created as metaphors for the workplace and build skills through an interactive, hands-on approach.

Member of the interdisciplinary team; completed therapeutic recreational assessment within eleven days of a child’s admission and annually thereafter; planned and implemented therapeutic recreational activities as indicated on each child’s treatment plan. Additional responsibilities included monthly documentation of therapeutic recreation; contributed appropriate information to the treatment team to assist in forming assessments of the children in the program; attended both educational and clinical services meetings. Responsibilities also included coordinating with staff in other departments for enrichment activities and special celebrations and/or events; ordered and maintained all equipment for the recreation program. Facilitated Adventure Programming across agency curriculum as needed. Coordinated quality improvement initiatives. Implemented RTF risk management procedures. Served as program liaison with various community agencies and networks.
