Our team is tasked with promoting and managing all cloud services within Appriss. Most of our work includes cross-account management, automation involving OpsWorks, Chef, Elastic Beanstalk and supporting the use of other Amazon AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, IAM and RedShift for other application teams at Appriss. Our team is labeled as the subject matter experts for all cloud services. Our team is also responsible for building and implementing a full software development lifecycle tool stack utilizing Atlassian products. We use Atlassian tools to enable our software development teams to quickly plan, monitor, and deploy applications in a fully automated platform. The entire Atlassian platform is also built on top of AWS OpsWorks profiles with full deployment automation, and we are in the process of fully automating software deployment to both in-house servers as well as cloud based services. We are also promoting Docker to containerize all of existing Ruby applications. Highlights:* Provide support, design and recommendations for Amazon AWS services to other teams and project leaders at Appriss* Designed and created a highly concurrent software process control system written in Go (golang) as a rest service with an AngularJS user interface. * Designed and created several projects using Go (golang) made available on github such as a rest toolkit, logger and local-remote command executor* Develop automation for Amazon Opsworks using chef* Introduced the use of Docker containers to Appriss* Automation of build and deployments using Atlassian Bamboo and Amazon Elasticbeanstalk* Design and creation of software development worflows using Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Stash
