He specializes in instructional design, e-development, classroom instruction, and learning management system (LMS) administration. Currently, he supports the IHCP call center as the instructor for HIPAA, Customer Service, and other soft skill topics. Mr. Sluss has served in a variety of industries, including transportation, banking, software, pharmaceuticals, state government, higher education, and performance improvement. He also supervises all Briljent contractors working in the Provider Enrollment, Care Programs, and Publications business units.Mr. Sluss has developed many types of training, concentrating primarily on instructor-led and web-based training materials. He has taught hundreds of classes on a variety of soft-skill topics and in support of new system implementations.Using PeopleSoft’s Enterprise Learning Management (ELM), he managed annual compliance training requirements for all Indiana state employees and contractors. This involved enrolling and tracking the completion of 40,000 people completing web-based training. Following this, he deployed the Indiana Department of Revenue’s (IDOR’s) entire catalog of web-based training into the ELM. In his current position at Briljent, Mr. Sluss has managed training in Absorb, OpenText’s Learnflex and Moodle.He has experience at every step of the training process, from analysis, to developing design documents, storyboards, creating web-based training (using Articulate/Storyline and Captivate), and implementing surveys with Survey Monkey.Mr. Sluss earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from Indiana University and a B.S. in Computer and Information Technology from Purdue University. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, earning an honorable discharge. Show less
