CurrentThe owners of SmithLee Productions, and Jerry Stauder, an enterprising programmer, founded e-Merge. The business plan involved developing alliances with advertising agencies, and corporations. Our strong suit allowed us to provide seamless integration of back-end development with our client's graphics, and creative visions. In one case history, e-Merge partnered with a major agency to rollout DSL services nationwide for the Baby Bells. We helped convert over one million prospect inquiries. At that time, the pre-SBC-AT&T Bells included Southwestern Bell, Pacific Bell, and New England Bell. Our company was charged with the task of creating some of the first interactive permission-based pop-up ads. At that time, pop-ups were a novelty, but generally just flat billboards. Our first interactive pop-up submission met the rollout launch date, and won an award for the agency. In 2002, SmithLee acquired e-Merge, where it became a subsidiary.
