Co-founded Micromedia, an advertising company specializing in music, culture, the arts and appropriate bands. It began life as print based where we built a flyer/poster network, the zeitgeist of cultural information at that time. We called ourselves “advertising channel architects” as our installations were hand crafted, considered and attuned to their environment. Micromedia has since pivoted into a dynamic DOOH (Digital Out Of Home) company with over 225 screens nationwide. We operate in 4 key categories- Urban, Lifestyle, Campus & MM Beyond, a portfolio of larger format & bespoke installations. Our goal is to build vibrant, creative & engaging outdoor channels that deliver for our clients whilst adding value to our towns and cities. I believe the integrity & creativity of our company will ultimately enable us to stand out from the noise.For my sins I co-founded Kings of Concrete, a skateboard & graffiti festival which eventually led to the rejuvenation of an old disused warehouse on Hanover Quay called Mabos. The vision was to re-imagine what a shared space can be, a place that often blurred the lines between work/play, personal/professional and was well loved by its many frequenters. It was special project and a little hard to explain so you can see my TEDx talk below for more info on that.My current side project is The Space Between, a magical contemporary movement, event & arts space on Fenian St.
