I am a highly creative and self-motivated individual with over twenty years of retail management experience in both sales and sales support. Performs responsibilities at a multi-facility level. Possesses the ability to communicate progressive concepts and best practices in all aspects of space planning, merchandising and retail operations. Has the versatility to function as a team leader as well as a team member and create a culture of ownership in each associate. In the past eight years I have opened twelve new stores, two outlets and one brick and mortar donation center. I have also renovated twelve existing locations and in 2018 I located, researched and opened a 104,000 square foot warehouse. I rolled out a new Q-line program into fourteen stores. I conceived and implemented the Estate / Downsizing donation program which reestablished home pickup service. I also supervised the newly established e-commerce books division. Identified struggling stores and developed strategies to recover sales and increase customer transaction counts.
