Greetings!My name is David Smith and I'm on a mission to help small business owners be successful. I want to partner with business owners, providing information and insight to advise and direct them in their finances. I have two goals in doing this: 1.) To assist them in understanding their financial situation so that they can confidently make informed decisions, and 2.) by taking on the financial responsibilities I will allow business owners to flourish in the business work that they are passionate about.I have almost three years of experience as a bookkeeper. My work experience has included daily transaction tracking, generating reports, reconciliation of bank accounts, receipts tracking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll (using Gusto). I am currently in the process of building a financial department from the ground up for my part-time employer. This process has included retrieving years of financial data to correct and organize it, and moving forward I am setting up systems to accurately record and report new information.I have experience with Quickbooks Desktop and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. I am familiar with Google Gsuite, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.I am certified as a bookkeeper and in Quickbooks Online - both through the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB).When I'm not bookkeeping I love spending time outdoors, hiking, fishing, or being on the water. I also enjoy playing a variety of instruments and will attempt to learn any instrument I can get my hands on.
