My most recent role was with Hays Recruitment, in a role working with BMA as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer/Technical Writer. This role involved creating the work instructions that govern how each asset within their fire systems are maintained. This relied on my exceptional communication skills, my ability to analyse relevant Standards Block Plans and P&ID drawings and my ability to work independently and manage my work to meet deadlines. In my time working with BMA I actively participated in weekly meetings with the Fire Systems team within BMAs Asset Integrity Engineering division. To aid in my work, I undertook training within the Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing. I received positive feedback from within the organisation, with the Maintenance Co-Ordinator at BMA’s Caval Ridge Mine commending me on the high standard of my work.
