Organize and coordinate recycling, energy, and water conservation competitions, educational programs, volunteer activities, assist with solid waste audits for Miami University, and write grant applications for the Office of Recycling.

Installed and maintained erosion control tools for residential construction development companies, conducted erosion control inspections, marketed and sold landscaping and gardening products, wrote grant applications, and assisted with garden installation projects for communities in the Cleveland Metropolitan area.

Performed a number of habitat assessments for salmonid species, including spawner surveys, stream channel surveys, habitat surveys, assisted the California Conservation Corps with creek restoration projects, taught elementary and high school students about salmonid biology and life cycle, and coordinated volunteer tree plantings and creek clean-ups.
