BSD Robotics is the world leader in the design and manufacturing of Laboratory robotics for dried sample handling. BSD was identified as having a unique and powerful hold of the market considering the company’s small staff size. As such BSD was acquired by Luminex Corporation with a goal to expand the business as a whole. Being part of a small development team required me to take on a number of responsibilities including management of the Software development team and the IT department.

I was contracted by QR for projects involving the Universal Train Control System. I was brought on to help with the redesign of the state wide system to increase its robustness to disasters such as flood, fire and terrorism and thus enable the system to continue to function if part of it were destroyed. I transitioned comfortably into this role, quickly increasing my technical responsibilities and becoming a valuable member of my team.

Gold Coast

I was hired by a franchise owner to help with an increasing number of clients. My duties involved all aspects of running an onsite van, including stock management, reconciliation and repairing any PC hardware or software problem.
