I initially held this post on a self-employed, part-time basis, beginning with assisting the main installer on site in repairing various types of sash windows on numerous projects, residential & commercial properties, listed buildings, etc. I was then asked to become Regional Manager & Surveyor for NI, to visit more properties, to carry out condition surveys, prepare reports and detail the issues with the sash windows. Reports were formed, repair works priced up and quotations sent to customer & head office, etc.
