Working on a 'Health & Well-being' research project for the NHS, using measures of psychiatric symptoms among adults living throughout England. The project is a national survey with the primary aim of assessing and monitoring trends in mental health, physical health and well-being of the adult population within England.

General Manager of BT National Distribution Centre at Magna Park - TUPE transfer to GXO following BT's outsourcing of logistics operations.

Responsible for BT's 360,000 sq ft National Distribution Centre all activities and operations within providing services to internal and external customers24/7 operation, c280 staff, approximately 35,000 engineers served. Inbound and outbound order fulfilment c30,000+ order lines daily.

Development of stock management & storage strategy to meet BT business requirements and objectivesManagement of the team responsible for stock & storage management of BT’s stock portfolio and that of external customers, analysis of the effectiveness of inventory strategy and stocking policies and recommend improvements

Managing BT’s inventory team, responsible for maintaining optimum stock holdings over 40K SKU’s throughout multiple locations in BT’s UK and Global operations. Also responsibility for stock management within the Magna National Distribution Centre.

Managed BT’s National Distribution Centre, primarily responsible for the successful daily picking and despatch of up 20,000 order lines and their next day delivery to our customers UK wide. Within this NDC operation I also had responsibility for the Card Control Centre, Testing, Service Point and Returns operations. In addition to this I had responsibility for the Staging and Configuration operations at Staines. I oversaw all matters within the operations – service, performance management, budget, development, health and safety, security and training. I had first line management responsibility for a team of 3 Logistics managers, 3 support managers and responsibility for approximately 100 team members within my operations

Within this role I managed the pick and despatch operation within BT’s National Distribution Centre and a team of approximately 20 operatives and 5 team leaders. Prior to this I worked as a Team Leader within the National Distribution Centre.
