Responsible for the technical integrity of Ageas’ motor engineering function. Providing a focal point of escalation for high value motor AD claims as well as being Ageas’ representative on many industry forums and committees.

Southern Uk

Managing an overall team in excess of 40 headcount, comprising of desk based Motor Engineers across two Ageas sites, Ageas' engineering and salvage support team in our Eastleigh head office and, our southern field based Motor Engineering team.

National

Providing a full and robust technical review of engineering processes and decisions, based upon technical competencies, engineering excellence and industry Best Practice. I also take responsibility for inspecting all damaged vehicles on a national basis where the AD spend is likely to exceed £30,000. In addition to this, I provide guidance and authority for other lower value claims where the value exceeds the handling authorities of the engineer dealing.I'm a current member of the Thatcham ETS Committee and have been for 8 years now. I've achieved success in the I.A.E.A. four written examinations and passed the original Automotive Technician Accreditation, Vehicle Damage Assessors examination.

South And South West

Leading a team of ten field and desk based Engineers and three support handlers. Ensuring effective day to day planning and management of technical competence and resource. Accountable for the Partnership repairer relationship and effectiveness through the central south of England across to Lands End and South Wales. Trained and coached a number of peers and team members leading to success in ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor qualifications.
