Routine maintenance and breakdown repair

• Worked at Plummers in Maddington building HV and VSD switchrooms for FMG Port Expansion project.• Duties involved installation, cabling, termination and testing of all equipment prior to site install, including temporary 690V transformer supplies for testing and commissioning.• Moved to FMG Cloudbreak, Expansion project (Iron ore mine) installing and terminating fixed plant equipment, conveyor systems, spent the majority of contract working in HV and VSD switchrooms. Duties included planning, cable support systems, cabling, glanding, terminating and testing. • Moved to FMG Port expansion and carried out same work. • Moved to FMG Rail expansion installing and terminating rail communications and signaling equipment along side of solar sightings until end of project. • Moved to UK.

Worked at Nowgerup Rail Facility maintaining Transperth locomotives. Duties involve routine maintenance and inspection of locomotives, isolations on 11kV lines, repairing faults in PLC systems and brake computers, installation of new equipment during upgrades. • Resigned to work for ECM

Maintenance electrician for FMG camp in the Chichester Ranges (Karntama Village and Christmas Creek)• Responsible for electrical breakdown and new electrical installations around camp as well as fault finding of domestic dwellings, air conditioning, fire system, commercial kitchen appliances, light vehicle and DC golf buggies.• FMG inducted for Cloudbreak, Christmas Creek and Karntama Village • Resigned due to insufficient holidays for pre-booked African Holiday.

Leading hand for office fit out for FMG in East Perth until completion in Jan 11• Managed 4 level construction job in Nedlands (Basement-car park, Ground- Retail tenancies, Level 1 and 2-Office fitouts), from slab work through to final fit off and comissioning• Made redundant due to loss of tenders

Worked on Ellenbrook Shopping Complex expansion until near completion.• Installed cable management and sub-mains throughout • Install car park lighting from start to finish• Installed and terminated mains, sub mains and sub circuits in Coles.• Resigned when work was slowing as KLM made me an offer to return

Worked for Fire and Safety Services based in Broome• Serviced fire systems throughout northwest of WA• Co-ordinated new installations, repairs and re-wires of commercial and industrial fire detection and prevention systems• Worked along side sprinkler fitters, welders and fire suppression team

Completed office fit out for Santos, in charge of power and reconstruction of level 1 sub board.• Obtained experience in building shutdowns on weekends, upgrading switchgear in main switch room of Wesfarmers building.• Leading hand for communications and AV fit out at NAB Narrogin. • Spent remainder of time at KLM doing service work ranging from basic power/data install to breakdown attendance.

Obtained experience in a vast range of commercial work in and around the CBD. E.g. cabling and service of electrical, communications, fibre optics, audio visual and security. Worked entire project at the Wesley Centre Rio Tinto building. Duties involved cable pulling, cable support systems and terminations both field and mains.• Later worked on the construction of a new science lab at Curtin University. Duties involved cabling and cable support installation.Everett Smith Oct 06- Jan 07• Spent the whole of this period on the new West Australian Building in Herdsman, duties involved ladder work, LV and HV cabling.
