Profile bio

About David Spinale

I am a recent retiree from the military that is perusing a role in management with a medium to large company in the Tampa area. I would like to work in safety or management to be able to continue using the skills I have been using for the past 20 years. I would like to be able to plan, organize, prioritize, direct and control my area of responsibility. I have used these skills and abilities in my previous career specifically when I was tasked to get over 200 people trained and ready to deploy to a hostile area with under half of the normal notification. I planned and organized the training and directed and controlled the movement of the personnel and aircraft. I was recognized as having the most logical and streamlined deployment ever seen. I also used these skills and abilities while I was a flight line maintenance expeditor; it was my responsibility to plan, prioritize, direct and control all maintenance actions of 75 people on 22 aircraft. Everyday there would be different priorities and it was my job to determine what order it needed to be done in. When an aircraft landed and crashed on the side of the runway I organized a crew of people to remove the aircraft from the landing area and place it in an aircraft maintenance hangar until we figured out what the cause of the accident was. I have completed a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics with a minor in Management and a second minor in OSHA. I am looking forward to beginning my next career as a manger in the civilian workforce where I can use all of my skills and abilities.Specialties: 20 years of experience in supervisory and management positions from national and global locations, expertise in planning, organization development, mentoring and motivating employees, leading cross-functional teams to meet and exceed organizational goals and quality objectives, strong communicator, advocate and counselor skilled in emergency preparedness, ability to train, develop and execute strategic plans, quality assurance and quality control, skilled in safety awareness

Listed skills include Stressful Situations, Policies And Procedures, Air Force, Inactive, and 71 others.
