Human Factors Engineer
Current• Diverse experience in consumer-focused engineering development environments, to include requirements, data collection, assessment, and project management. • Broad knowledge of relevant human factor’s regulations, standards, and requirements. • Strong team leader and communicator adept in collaborating with multifaceted teams both nationally and internationally to successfully complete projects. • Excellent time management, problem resolution, presentation, and organization skills; strong technical aptitude able to quickly learn and apply new methodologies and principles. Provide human factor’s technical expertise regarding product design and development in accordance with all regulations and requirements; collaborate with multinational team to complete assigned projects. Develop and implement work plans for analysis, testing, and evaluation, as well as integrate scope across product lines. Hold access clearance at Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant. Key Achievements:• Selected to lead the customer’s Human Factor’s Program for nuclear power plant start up. • Successfully interfaced between software engineers and clients using strong interpersonal skills. • Spearheaded database standardization of nomenclature for signals and components descriptions. • Utilized AP1000 Simulator to conduct human engineering deficiency verification testing; identified and implemented correction actions.
