Raised and schooled in the Midwest, from my youth I developed an inclination for fishing, gardening, and reading, in addition to math and science. I began full time work at Torotel in 1985, gaining firm grounding in magnetics testing and manufacturing, and moving into engineering in 1987. Under the guidance of many seasoned engineers with a wealth of experience, my training grew in practical magnetics design. By their example, I also learned how to effectively assist customers to optimize and refine their design needs, and my learning continues daily. Our products reliably operate in a wide variety of military and aerospace applications, and some commercial applications as well.My present goal is focused on serving my customer needs for magnetic components and electronic assemblies, through creativity and persistent work.Specialties: Transformer and inductor design, military and aerospace.
