David P. Stapp, past owner of Texcel Exploration, Inc., an oil and gas company established in 1981, specialized in consulting for individuals, oil and gas companies, law firms, and title companies, as well as, evaluated producing properties, assigned reserve estimates, and determined worth of producing interests. Mr. Stapp has exhibited a dedicated specialty interest in the Barnett, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, along with other shale plays and has generated numerous prospects in several basins with his primary area of interest being North Texas/Southern Oklahoma. David has consulted for numerous companies in Texas and Oklahoma. His background includes mud logging, wellsite geology, company representative and completion specialist. His primary focus is the interpretation and integration petrophysically of the known producing horizons. David currently works as an independent consulting Geologist and is skilled in all facets of drilling (including directional and horizontal) and completion techniques in all of the known oil and gas formations of North Texas.
