BASIC FUNCTIONThe Global Workload Automation Manager, under the general direction of the AVP, will assist in the day-to-day tasks critical to the team’s success. This individual will be responsible for attending project meetings when necessary and assist in gathering and documenting infrastructure and security requirements. This individual will also become familiar with all compliance, regulatory and security requirements adhering to all corporate policies and standards. This person needs to be experienced in technology with good planning and coordination skills. An energetic, solution minded personality with drive, attention to details and excellent communication skills will be needed for success in this position. This position is responsible for supporting optimization and administration of Automic Workload Automation tools used by GMF IT. Leads all efforts, in designing, deploying migrating and scheduling batch workloads and assists others from distributed teams in learning the technology for their own departmental advantage. Provides expert level support in isolating faults and failures in complex flows in support of timely critical jobs and batch completions. The individual in this position will serve as the senior batch processing expert supporting batch innovations and optimization of new and existing workloads, on-boarding new applications and aiding in the execution and delivery of related IT Services.
