I performed intensive research processes to match newspaper content to client order forms by examining electronic and physical paper copies through a software system and marking ads, editorials, and articles to send for electronic clipping. I was responsible for examining hundreds of papers between two state press associations, sorting through the inventory of hardcopies based on electronic copies, and sending hardcopy pages to our scanners for entry into the software system. I used some time to create several documents pertaining to newspaper names and company ID's that streamlined these processes.

As a clerical assistant, I have performed many tasks for the Government Documents Department of the Library. Through intense research, I helped create and publish two library guides regarding Missionaries in United States Foreign Relations up to 1910 and the presence of Religion in Government Publications. Other tasks include: compiling and sending of document request lists from other libraries, hyperlinking from multiple databases of government publications to include in current library guides, and helping other employees in their own tasks and research.

As an usher, my job required me to direct vehicles to parking spots at the funeral home during visitations and escort members to the door, as well as help them with any other needs they might have. As an office assistant, I performed a fair amount of clerical work, such as organizing and compiling files of transactions, sending these files to the different company branches and locations, labeling, discarding, and any errands my boss needed me to run.

I contacted alumni and friends of the University of Missouri and attempted to build relationships with them by asking them about their collegiate career, recent visits to the University, and their career after college. Furthermore, I attempted to encourage them to support the University through donations to various funds we have to offer in our colleges and our general funds. The responses of each person that I contacted was recorded in a system used to pool callers.

Jefferson City Country Club

This job required me to assist the tennis professional on staff by providing tennis lessons to children from the ages of 6 through high school by performing drills, conditioning, strategy lessons, and match play. I would set up the lessons with our various supplies, helped clean the pro shop, and maintain the cleanliness of the tennis courts by sweeping, drying water, and taking out trash. Oftentimes, I would be handed the responsibility of giving the entire lesson by myself when the pro was not present. The job was a summer position, so I worked from May to October 2014 and May to August 2015.
