Provided direction to technicians in the form of instruction on efficiency, safety, and material proficiency. The system was automated, but it was my responsibility to ensure feasibility and adapt the schedule accordingly. •Created an environment that resulted in two technicians gaining promotion. Accomplished by providing technical training and facilitating professional development in 1on1 sessions. Facilitated a schedule of technical publications to review. Educated associates on developmental programs like tuition assistance and USMAPS (Technical Apprenticeship program).•Led the work center through final phases of a critical shipyard upgrade. Integrated all stakeholders including outside contractors and my team to ensure radio suite upgrades were completed on time, resulting in 100% suite operation. This was critical for management to get authorization to continue ship upgrades to accomplish future missions.
