Conducted official business with the Burkina Faso host nation government in French. Held multiple staff positions simultaneously due to imposed workforce reductions and hiring freezes.● Managed Embassy resources in real time through two fatal terrorist attacks.● Co-led an effort to identify and gain approval of a suitable five-acre site for a pilot prefabricated warehouse and the sovereign acquisition of new land for an emergency helicopter landing zone.● Rightsized the entire section to support better the embassy, which doubled in size over the previous seven years—an enterprise that included housing, motor pool and more than $10M in assets.KEY DELIVERABLE: Managed the procurement of the multi-million-dollar embassy health care contract to local companies.CAREER HIGHPOINT: Program innovation.
