The USIS Safety & Compliance will be primarily responsible for directing and assuring complete observance to USIS policies and procedures; corporate initiatives; and local, state and federal safety criteria. In addition, the safety director will direct and oversee all safety, health and environmental activities as dictated by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) DOT Department of Transportation, standards and guidelines as. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Develop and monitor comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Process.Review and adopt Federal, State, and Corporate guidelines and procedures to assure compatibility with corporate processes.As required, interface with all Division, on site, HR managers, plant HSE management, external companies, industries and associations to ensure up-to-date programs and to maintain current and complete perspective on new and changing and ever-changing regulatory issues.
