This was a valuable platform into the accounting and finance field where I gained general bookkeeping experience and prepared books of entry, bank reconciliations, debtors ledgers, and creditors ledgers. I worked on data entry up to trial balance stage and assisted in the preparation of financial statements. Prepared accounts files with lead schedules and working paper supporting the financial statements.Following my experience with Grant Thornton, I am currently assisting the firm with their Income Tax returns and employment tax related issues to support myself through my MSc in University College of Dublin.

Liaised with a range of high profile clients ranging from start-ups to multi-nationals whilst working within the Asset Wealth Management department. Key resposibilities included:Testing various financial statement line items such as cash, equity, payroll and inventory. Planning/Completion section of the file.Internal and external communication between my colleagues and clients was a vital component to deliver efficient results during my online placement.

Key responsibilities included:Multitasking to ensure the highest level of customer care and relations was delivered whilst also completing daily tasks such as stock management and control. Till preparation, handling and managing of cash.Sales initiatives working with management to ensure projected sales are delivered.
