David Sutton has over 40 years experience in the engineering industry. He worked with two major companies----Maunsell (now Aecom) 1975 to 1981 and Kaiser Engineers 1982 to 1987----before joining Proteus Engineers as a Director and building the company over the following 28 years into a highly regarded Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) group of over 250 personnel. He was responsible for management of key sectors of the organisation, including day to day management activities, project sponsorship, QA/QC and HSE management and certification.Proteus was acquired by leading US engineering company Tetra Tech in 2011. Tetra Tech has 330 offices globally, over 14,000 personnel and a annual revenues over $3bn USD. As Tetra Tech Proteus, the Perth-based organisation became part of the Global Mining Practice, with capabilities in most commodities and projects in all mining geographies. David re-located to Melbourne in 2015, and joined solar energy company as Chairman in 2016.
