Oversee the introduction of new laboratory instruments and organize training for lab personnel. My research aimed to characterize the transcriptional regulation of genes in Archaea, using techniques such as RT-qPCR, protein purification, characterization of protein-DNA interactions, enzymatic characterization and X-ray crystallography. Through my work, I made significant contributions to understanding the regulatory mechanisms of fatty acid metabolism and transcriptional regulation in Archaea, which have interesting applications in biotechnology like production of biofuels or bioplastics.Throughout my PhD, I developed skills in project management, mentoring, and public speaking. I mentored six master's thesis students, guiding them in their personal development and helping them find their areas of interest and motivation.
