The SCMT was a hugely collaborative effort to increase inter-group and intra-group transparency and accuracy of cost estimates, providing a central platform for all groups to document scope & cost assumptions, as well as track project changes. The SCMT is currently being used to estimate the cost for each project included in the 2015 General Rate Case (GRC), Long-Term Plan, & Capital Budget.My specific role included extensive data research, analysis and implementation for the SCMT's Oracle Database, pulling massive data sets of material costs, work orders, and purchase orders, as well as analyzing past projects to recommend and implement accurate labor assumptions and overhead rates.
