Portfolio of responsibilities included high impact sales/growth initiatives including global Infiniti brand, strategic M&A, global EV/Battery matters, litigation (including IP litigation and recoveries from auto cartel suppliers, subject of one of the largest ever global antitrust investigations). ➢ Started up and built new legal team covering Advanced Technology tasked with driving growth for connected vehicles and autonomous driving, while managing privacy and cybersecurity issues. ➢ Overhauled global Nissan dealer network sales and marketing strategy, a critical strategic country-by-country revenue growth initiative, by creating strategy to convert entrenched local dealer relationships to align with corporate incentives.➢ Lead lawyer for Infiniti’s global sales and marketing function, including sponsorship arrangements for Red Bull/Toro Rosso Formula 1 racing and Formula E➢ Led Renault-Nissan Alliance in 74.5% acquisition of $2.3bn equity of AvtoVaz, Russia's largest auto maker; Advised on $2.2bn acquisition of 34% of Mitsubishi Motors Co.; Resolved and sold EV battery joint venture AESC. Sold 41% of Calsonic Kansei (now Marelli) to KKR in ¥498 billion TOB ➢ Led Takata restructuring amidst recalls of over 100 million airbag and multibillion dollar claims in multiple jurisdictions. Chief architect for Nissan strategy, secured best recovery rate among all major OEM creditors, while ensuring continuity of the supply chain.➢ Managed numerous large and complex litigation matters

Special situations & principal investments platform in Japan for Grove International (ex-Soros Real Estate Partners) and spin off of Citigroup Principal Investments. Deal sourcing, structuring and execution for corporate sponsorship and distressed debt transactions, primarily real estate secured NPLs. Led initiatives in consumer lending.
