Identify root cause of defects or problems with 5 whys analysis.

August 2006 – June 2008: APS (TPS) Leader Springfield PlantResponsible for the plant training and implementation of the Toyota Production Systems (Lean Manufacturing) at the after-market Springfield, KY plant. Scheduled and managed all APS (TPS) implementation activities. Scheduled and trained the TPS principles to production associates, group leaders and team leaders. Lead or participated in standardized work, inventory reduction systems, and lead time improvement activities. In charge of the Kaizen fabrication shop with scheduling plant fabrication needs. Hands on involvement to ensure fabrication needs met the target of Kaizen. Worked with production, quality, maintenance and engineering to raise production output, reduce quality defects and reworks, reduce equipment downtime issues and created new plant layouts to reduce lead time with smooth internal logistics. Report out and presented Kaizen activity results to management.
