About David Torres

I am a Web Developer, mainly working in Frontend with JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML and CSS. I have strong foundations in science, design, art, technology, and college education. My goal as a developer is to create high-level technological solutions through teamwork, continuous learning, and the implementation of agile methodologies.Before starting my career as a Software Developer I was involved in the Health Care field; I was performing as a Respiratory Physiotherapist in a Colombian L3 Hospital. I had the opportunity to start my developer journey years ago by collaborating with the requirements analysis of the internal software used by colleagues to record clinical data obtained from supported patients. Besides, I helped to create and migrate clinical protocols to the hospital' servers. Meanwhile, I decided to join a coding school where I started programming in Bash, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being part of App Brewery helped me to learn and improve technical skills, agile frameworks, asynchronous collaboration, and team cooperation. Since then, I have been delving into software development, learning different approaches with frontend libraries like ReactJS (React Bootcamp at Wizeline Academy), TailWind, Bootstrap, Vite, etc.I love teaching. I have had the opportunity to work as a college professor at Colombian Universities. I like finding the best strategies to let anybody get the most out of the lessons.
