 Create and maintain a monthly damage log to track the movement and timeliness of deleted units during repair. Work closely with multiple on lot vendors to ensure appropriate repairs are completed cost effectively.  Maintain inventory records to ensure all removed rental units have been processed to help lower the groups depreciation costs.  Completed training and certification for underground fuel storage tanks for Texas code.

 Managed the operations and inventory of a 17-acre fleet center for Enterprise, Alamo, and National, responsible for moving roughly 66000 vehicles through the operation yearly.  Supervised a 17 member team that inventoried and prepared new stock from delivery to rental locations, and also inspected the used vehicles as they were moved and inventoried for sale.  Worked with the Vehicle Acquisitions and daily rental team to strategically determine vehicle placement across the group.  Completed and maintained training for underground fuel storage tank operator and kept the fuel log book updated per Illinois code.

 Team leader in charge of 3 employees responsible for the completion of the summer traffic program, scheduling more than 12,000 traffic counts, and producing roughly 300 unique maps using Bentley MicroStation per year. Responsible for querying data from several databases using SQL to create unique GIS workspaces used for the processing and analysis of the traffic data.  Utilized GIS software (GEOmedia) to spatially locate and maintain the traffic database, containing over 150,000 count locations across Iowa. Developed several new processes to shorten the entire office workflow including both the scheduling and analysis of traffic data. Administrator of TRADAS; (TRAffic Data System), a software system for collecting, editing, summarizing, and reporting the Department Of Transportation’s traffic data for all the public roadways in the state of Iowa. Queried Transportation Data’s Geographic Information Management System (GIMS). GIMS is a custom interface that allows maintenance of data as well as graphical results of data queries.  Maintain the office of Transportation Data’s turning movement program using Visual Basic programming language.

 Scheduled traffic counts and prepared maps for the state of Iowa using Bentley MicroStation and IDMS mainframe programs. Integral part in the analysis and publication of the collected traffic data. Assisted with the recording of several Iowa highways using the video log van

 Updated the linework for the Department of Transportation’s maps of state parks, institutions, and federal areas. Assisted with locating and defining intersections throughout the state in order to allow crash data to be geographically identified and analyzed. Developed roadway centerline alignments from design plan and profile sheets using Bentley MicroStation. Assisted in defining 911 names to secondary roadways. Utilized aerial photography to update and enhance accuracy of cartographic products for Iowa DOT’s Linear Referencing System (LRS) . Updated city street and corporation line information for Iowa’s municipal maps.
