Over 20 years experience working in retail.started back with Safeway as an in-store cleaner and was quickly promoted to petrol station assistant manager and within a year of that promotion I was promoted yet again to petrol station manager. after a few years Safeway was taken over by Morrison's and I moved back to the main store taking on the position of checkout manager running the tills, kiosk, trollies and checkout management. 4 years later I moved to a replenishment role taking on the job of wines and spirits manager gaining my wines and spirits education trust diploma at a credit level. During my time in the wines department I also had spells in administration and cash office picking up all the legalities related to retail. 2015 I made the decision to take vouluntery redundancy from Morrison's and joined the Co-op a few months later. at present I have managed 3 stores for the group including a site with a post office.Outwith work I have undertaken the roles of board member and chair of Pittenweem community Trust and I am the the current chair of the west braes project charity (sco47249).
