In my role as the Application Administrator I support the Environmental Laboratory as the administrator for their Laboratory Information Management System (Horizon LIMS). I am responsible for the general upkeep, management, and customization of said application/database. This includes test configuration, parser customization, data uploads, data file deliverables, and report customization. I work with the various teams and analytical sections to try and streamline as many processes as possible and add extra functionality to aid my coworkers in their duties.During my time as a Laboratory Technician I had many responsibilities including sample receiving, sample login, data entry, shipping/receiving, sample disposal, and as the sample courier.In addition to my work in the Environmental Lab, I have experience as a Live Sound Engineer/Stage Manager for an online concert streaming channel. I was responsible for all of the audio routing and mixes of the performances (in house/monitors/internet stream), as well as general stage setup and teardown. This was a mostly amateur endeavor, but through teamwork and a common goal of this passion project we were able to deliver a product we were proud of.
