Responsible for planning and overseeing construction work. This involved:• Working within a multidisciplinary team to plan all stages of the project.• Compiling documents under CDM Principal Contractor duties like the construction phase plan, risk assessments and method statements.• Performing site manager roles while build stages were operational.Most notable projects to date were the installation of a 75kW hydrogen fuel cell system on Kirkwall harbour in Orkney, and the fitout of a hydrogen fuel cell installation facility for hydrogen buses in Liverpool.Was also responsible for the overseeing the maintenance of all company sites.

Promoted from maintenance manager to lead new department. Oversee ongoing improvements to the building, managing in-house operatives and external contractors. Most notable job was £1.6 million cut-and-carve conversion of factory to theatre and separate engineering offices. Works included basement excavation and underpin, basement and ground floor slab pours, industrial chimney removal, installation of biomass boiler and solar PV systems, etc.

Manage small team of maintenance operatives and carry out work to ensure the building and its facilities remain operational. Jobs included carpentry, plumbing, masonry repairs etc. I was also responsible for managing external maintenance contractors.
